Jim O’Keefe began his career as a hair dresser 25 years ago (and still cuts most of his original clients!) He was educated at Skyline College San Francisco as well as advanced instruction with Framesi, Redken and Bumble & Bumble; Jim’s forte is colors & cuts including razor cuts. His attention to detail has led him to develop close and personal relationships with his regulars. When not at work his pursuits are theatre, films and personal development.

Jim’s business partner Caren Miranda has a gift of being a much sought after hairdresser. Caren’s haircuts and colors appeal to those with discerning taste! Caren has been doing hair for over 31 years. Caren’s area of expertise is hair-loss, thinning and wigs; she also is an excellent colorist. Her pastimes include photography, cooking, traveling and entertaining.

Dimitri Serafimedes is At The Top Salon’s longest standing employee. Dimitri a graduate of Skyline College in San Francisco, with coaching in Framesi, Redken, Rusk, and Bumble &Bumble lines, he also trained in Vidal Sassoon styling. Dimitri helps his patrons develop their own personal style. He will pay special interest to your own natural colors and does everything from simple to cutting edge. Dimitri enjoys music and theatre and theatrical makeup in his leisure time.

Nicole Carrow has been with At The Top for over 11 years. Nicole graduated from Santa Barbara Beauty School and has had trained with Vidal Sassoon, Kerastase, Phytologie, Redken, Bumble & Bumble, Framesi, and Jalyd. Her specialty is natural looking color and highlighting. She will help you achieve the appearance you want while instructing you on how do duplicate your look. When not at work she spends time with her friends and family including her latest addition Sal!

Stephanie Gilardi another one of our senior stylists has been designing hair for over 6 years. Stephanie received her cosmetology degree from Redwood Empire Beauty College, Santa Rosa. She has had advance training from Redken, Framesi, Schwarzkopf, and visited the Bumble Academy in New York to receive specialized training. Stephanie’s specialties are color and cuts and weddings. She has been with At The Top for over 4 ½ years. One of her favorite fields is weddings and special events. Stephanie also does hairdreams extensions. She enjoys shopping, traveling and quiet family time.

Rachel Melton is the newest addition to the At The Top Salon stylists, After working with us as an assistant Rachel is out on the floor and doing great. She has been here for over a year and loving it! Rachel graduated from San Rafael Beauty Academy and has schooling from Bumble & Bumble, Redken, Framesi, Phytologie and Jalyd. Rachel enjoys highlighting and coloring hair but also designing haircuts for clients hair types and face shape.

If you have visited At The Top Salon before you may already know Araceli Ruiz. Araceli had been our front desk manager for over 2 years now. While not at work or apprenticing; Araceli received her cosmetology degree from the prestigious Paul Mitchell San Francisco Institute of Esthetics & Cosmetology. Araceli is also our Bumble & Bumble Network Educator Team Leader. Araceli has spent time in New York at the Bumble & Bumble Academy learning the newest cuts and color fashions her specialty is styling, makeup and multi-dimensional color. Her passions include fashion, theatre, family and weddings.

Vanessa Rios (Manager) has been with At The Top Salon & Gallery for over 9 years.  Usually stationed at the front desk or working close with the clients, Vanessa's job is to make sure that everyone leaves happy with their hair and recieves the ultimate in customer satisfaction.  She has been trained with Redken, Bumble and Bumble and other business management teams.  The ultimate go-to girl; Vanessa is in charge of staffing, employees and business representives needs. Her passions include hair products and the latest styling trends.  When not working Vanessa enjoys spending time with her husband and two year old son.
